A special thanks to Kathy Shattuck of Sweetened Memories bakery in Durham, NH who did a cake decorating demonstration for residents on April 7th! Kathy will be a monthly guest, decorating a special cake to celebrate resident birthdays for the month. Residents, staff and family members enjoyed the delicious and beautiful cake following yesterday’s lunch!
This cake for April birthdays was a vanilla cake with vanilla frosting decorated with a blossoming cherry tree on a Tiffany Blue background. Carriage Hill will select a seasonal theme each month or a design in tribute to residents celebrating a birthday during the month.
